The Guide To Buying Your Air Fryer Online

For the pandemic years, kitchen gadgets are all the rage -from Homebuddies to the Kapitbahay version. We had sous vides, slow cookers, BBQ drums, and the subject of this article -the mighty air fryer! It’s like we rediscovered our love for cooking. And why not? You can use an air fryer not just to fry but also to bake, roast, and more. The surge in air fryer sales in recent years resulted in a variety of options and different brands of air fryers from various manufacturers and at various prices.

What is an Air Fryer Anyway?

Let’s get this elephant out of the room: Air-frying is a remarketing of the “convection oven.” There, I said it. It’s essentially the same thing, but “air frying” just sounds so much , ehemm, airier?

Air frying involves heating air to a temperature that’s high enough to fry something. More precisely, it involves heating air at an altitude of around 100 feet in a chamber. The temperature will rise rapidly until the food is cooked, and then cool again to the appropriate temperature.

Air-frying has been around since the beginning of time—kidding, it was invented by Dutch baker Pieter Coenen in 1735 for his own use in his bakery. The technique was perfected by Dutch baker Joseph Goossens in 1812, and even today we can find Air-fryers everywhere—just look for them at your local grocery store or deli. But why would you want one? Why not just cast off an old-fashioned convection oven?

The answer is simple: Because they’re so darn convenient! If you don’t have a conventional oven on hand that can handle convection cooking, you can turn on the air fryer and start cooking with it. Plus it’s on line with my Relax Lang Mom Manifesto, which is about making it easier for ourselves.

Do Air Fryers really fry in the air?

In my mind, the fries are lifted in the air and cooked magically. It’s just a magical marketing guy who coined up the word but it might as well be magic. Also, an air fryer is not a fryer in the strictest sense of the term. It is a small kitchen appliance that uses heat to cook food. You can picture it as your mini convection oven! (hence the argument that air fryers are just glorified convection ovens but that’s beside the point)

Cooking with Air Fryers

Air fryers heat up quickly or don’t need to be preheated, so you can prepare food quicker. Because it doesn’t heat up your kitchen space like an oven, it’s ideal for us with a small kitchen that can heat up the house quiet quickly.

These air fryers reduce our guilt when eating deep-fried meals. Chos hahaha. Since we have a passionate and profound love affair with fried food. Crispy pata, anyone? We know that fried food is unhealthy, but we just can’t resist!

Instead of frying food in a lot of oil, air fryers allow you to prepare food with reduced fat content and calories. With a fraction of the oil used for frying, you can still get the same taste and texture. Win-win!

Air fryers are an excellent option for people who live alone because they are a compact, portable device. The Air Fryer is an eco-friendly and healthy alternative to conventional deep fryers. It has a simple and straightforward interface, making it excellent for those who do not have a lot of cooking experience. It is a convenient option for those who are seeking a new fried food experience without sacrificing health.

Air fryers are much like conventional deep fryers, with a few important distinctions.

Choices, choices:

Cooking for two or for the whole gang?

There’s one thing certain, air fryers come in these little droid like cute designs. They are compact. However, they come in different sizes or ability loads that determine how much food you can prepare with them. You must consider how much food you will be cooking in the air fryer, as doing multiple batches might be difficult.

Some brands provide 2-liter capacities, which some people feel is sufficient for singles or couples. However, for big families or cooking large amounts of food, we suggest opting for a higher load capacity. But, remember that a larger air fryer requires more space. Make sure that there is sufficient room in your kitchen to place the fryer by checking its dimensions.

Front-load or Top Load?

Most air fryers use two loading techniques. Front drawers are the most popular option, but you can also find flip-top lids. The drawer style is the most widely available option, and many people prefer it for its convenience. Or because it looks like a kitchen version of R2D2.I would advise getting a see-through flip-top lid if you want to go for a flip-top lid because it will be easier to keep track of your food.

How To Clean The Air Fryers?

Non-stick cookware is one of the preferred options when it comes to convenience. Non-stick baskets for air fryers make cleaning simpler and quicker, as they ensure that you get all the bits and pieces of your meal. No harsh scrubbing required! Master tip! Use a liner so the drippings doesnt make it hard to clean and the meat skins doesnt stick!

The Cooking Presets is Love -especially for beginners!

Certain foods must be cooked at certain temperatures. The temperature in air fryers is typically between 80°C and 200°C, depending on the manufacturer. But no worries! Most air fryers have preset functions and preset cooking modes to make things simpler for you. All you have to do is click a few buttons or turn a few knobs on the different brands of air fryers, and the machine will do the time and temperature settings and cooking for you!

You think air fryer is only for frying? Well, you’re wrong. You can use an air fryer to prepare a multitude of dishes besides deep-fried ones like fries and chicken wings. You can use it for grilling, baking, roasting, stewing, and dehydrating fruits are just a few of the possibilities! And my favorite -it can also make me yogurts! Yummm.

When thinking about which air fryer to purchase, consider what types of meals you would like to prepare. If you want to bake using it, get one with a higher temperature range. A timer is also helpful for letting you know when your food is ready!

The Hanabishi Original Oven Air Fryer Boil, Bake, Toast, Broil with Rotisserie Hafeo -A Review

So before I give you the air fryer options that you can choose from, let me just go ahead and convince you to try Hanabishi Hafeo Air Fryer. Like all my other buys, this decision came in part because of recommendations for my groups. (In this case, the Ifoodala group a long time ago). Both the 23 L and the 30 L are big enough for a midsize family. It can fry, broil, grill, toast bread. And Im more than happy with this.

But my most favorite part is that I can use this air fryer for baking. When I’m not baking anything big or grand, I can choose not to open my big oven and just use this multi-purpose fryer. And since it’s form is like that of an oven, the shape is not weird for small baking pans.

The Hanabishi has a generous capacity that’s perfect for meal prepping and cooking for the whole family. This is key when you’re trying to feed a crowd of hungry moms and kids too! Being able to make a big batch of fries or chicken wings in one batch is a huge time saver.

In addition to its ease of use, I’d be sure to call out how quickly this device can whip up favorites compared to traditional methods. Fried foods often take 20+ minutes in oil but the Hanabishi has you covered in as little as 15 minutes depending on quantity. No preheating long waits means faster snacks and suppers for your socializing.

Cleanup is a cinch since nothing sticks to or spatters from the non-stick coated basket insert. A quick wipe is all that’s needed to prep it for the next batch. Less scrubbing between appetizers translates to more relaxing!

While one-touch is convenient, I’d note that Hanabishi also offers a range of temperatures from 180-400°F to allow for custom cooking various foods perfectly. Got an air frying newbie in the crew? No problem – just point them to the manual’s temperature guide.

Those are the top features I’d highlight to intrigued moms considering an air fryer investment. I have been using this air fryer for a long time, in fact, I bought my sisters one each and sent one home to my mother. It’s one of the cheapest option and the small Hafeo 23S is running to P6138 while the Hafeo 30L is at P7700. I think this is really cheap for the cost of an air fryer and an oven to boot!

But as promised, here is a list of different brands of air fryers you can buy online:
