Green juice can help your kids body absorb nutrients from leafy greens and veggies easier than it does when they chew them. It also helps because drinking them is easier and faster than forcing your kids to eat veggies.
For this easy green juice recipe, we combine highly alkalizing spinach with orange, cucumber, parsley, ginger, and calamansi. Spinach tastes mild and is packed with nutrition, lemon and ginger adds zing, the cucumber adds mineral-rich water, and the orange balances everything out with a little sweetness.
(Make sure to scrub and wash all vegetables and fruits well before juicing). As much as super humanly possible, use organic vegetables please! This juice detox recipe are quickly and easily made by putting all the ingredients into a juicer, no need to chop, peel or prep. But if you haven’t got one, don’t worry – you can make a smoothie version of all these juices with a normal blender!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup malunggay, kale or spinach
- 1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 cucumber
- 2 calamansi
- 1 lime
- 1 orange
Juice all ingredients with your masticating juicer like Matstone.
